Binary files upload with ASPRunner Pro.
  1. Add binary field to the table that holds file content In MS Access use OLE Object field type In MS SQL - image field type

  2. Add text field that holds uploaded file name (FileName in this example). This filename is required to set correct file type when you retrieve uploaded file from the database. If you don't choose filename field or leave it empty you will be presented with "Open with ..." dialog every time you download this file from the database.

  3. Go to the Formatting tab and set "Edit as" and "View as" to "Database file" for this binary field. Click on "Change ..." in "View format" column and choose filename field you created on step 2.

  4. Build ASP files.

  5. Open generated files in browser and upload files. If no file uploaded ASP page displays broken image icon. To download file click on Binary File icon and choose Open or Save.
